Pours beautiful black with a hazelnut brown head, which looks delicious and reminds me of a really good espresso crema.

Aroma is unfortunately weak and disapointing with flavours of green apples and grass. Later I get roasted malt, coffee liquer, pumpernickel and figs.

Taste is much better. It feels light and smooth and i can´t feel the 9% alcohol at all. I get both coffee, chocolate and licorice but the dark maltiness dominates.

Medium body. Except for a slight grassiness, it´s not to bad. Not a crazy beer in any way but it´s very drinkable and quite nice.

Taste: fruits soaked in alcohol, soy sauce, chocolate, butter, dried fruit, some port, toffee. Quite a heavy mouthfeel, full-bodied. Complex and tasty.

Bottled:
Pours a black colour with ruby edges. Head is small. Liquorice and toffee on the nose. Creamy but rather thin mouth feel. Flavour is burnt bread, liquorice, chocolate and some notes of burnt plastic. Big, somewhat sourish bitterness.

Bottle 25 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours black and opaque with a rough beige head. Intense aroma of dark, dried fruit - sweet raisins. Very full-bodied, a little low in carbonation, hard roasted malts and sweet dried fruit. Ends smooth and sweet with hardly any bitterness. Delicious. 141210

Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is rich with coffee and roasted malts. It pours a black colour with a thick light brown foam. Taste is sweet with a little bitterness, some caramel and wood in the midtones. Great on the palate!

Bottle. This one i all about dark malts. Notes of licorice, dark chocolate, coffe etc. Nice oily texture. The only "bad" thing about ut is the lack of real complexity. Still a nice relaxed porter.

Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, hops, citrus fruits, and liquorice. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and salt-liquorice, leading to a dry finish where the liquorice note lingers. Thanks joergen for sharing.

Thanks to Secret Santa for this beer 25cl bottle, Dark brown pour with a small head, the flavors are dry, roasty, with some malty sweetness in the background. For a beer at 9.1%, it is pretty easy drinking. Very nice.
