0.33l bottle. This is a fairly blurry deep orange, most a bit amber colored one and it has a medium sized bubbly light beige top. Nice lacings. The nose is filled with a earthy nutty bitterness and some caramel sweetness. A little bit of birch as well here. Not directly fresh, but fair I guess. It has a good earthy bitterness in the taste as well this. Feels light oily in the mouth and it has a just above average carbonation level. Is this perhaps a English style American Pale Ale? I get some light burned hints as well here and a little bit of white licorice and seltin salt. Mildly put a good amount of malty caramel. Feel it’s quite untypical for an APA, I would at least never have guessed that in a blind test, but it’s not bad tasting. 04.11.2013

Bottle. It’s a dark golden beer, unlcear, and with a decent off-white head. It’s piney and citrusy on the nose, a bit much of the white part of the citrus peel maybe, with the malts in the far back and quite subdued. There’s a fine bitterness in the mouth and swallow, with citrus and pine cones and a malty sweetness to balance it. Full body, semi sweet and with a decent carbonation. Pretty pleasant this one. 130308

Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. Clear, amber colour. Half-inch offwhite head, fairly good retention, settles as a thick bubbly film and leaves some lacing. Aroma of dusty malt, grain, resin, caramel. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very well-balanced taste, salty-sweet initially, then more bitter and slightly acidic. Lingering dusty-bitter finish.

ClubGonzo (3509) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 5, 2013
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a hazy dark orange body with a medium creamy off-white head. Nose is peaches, grapefruit, red berries, hay and hints of pine, caramel and earthy leaves. Taste is mild caramel, grass, pine and hints of nougat and wet leaves. Medium body and carbonation. Fair enough, but no winner.

0.33 l bottle. Clear golden with offwhite head. Significant malty notes. A decent beer although I would expect more hopps in an APA

Bottle at Kulturhuset, june 16th 2013. Clear dark golden, small offwhite head. Aroma is malty with grass and a hint of grapefruit. Taste of sweet malts and grass. Heavy grass finish with a lasting caramel aftertaste. Dissappointing beer with a very unbalanced malt/hop ratio.
