COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A 2001 Silver Medal Winner at the North American Brewers' Association competition. A deep-copper colored medium - bodied ale. Its fresh flavor is smooth and carefully balanced with a nice mellowness and hint of caramel malt balanced by medium hop bitterness. It is an all malt beer that is naturally carbonated. A very drinkable beer all on its own and pairs well with all kinds of foods.

Clear light copper, small off white head fades. Sweet malty aroma. Bready caramel malt taste, some nuttiness and toffee, mild bitterness. Soft and buttery. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, low hopped. Thins out a bit, lightly bitter in the finish. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Draft at The Bar in Cottonwood. Pours a clear, light copper color with a small off-white head; too light for the style. Aroma of corn, cereal, brown sugar, and leaves. Flavor of corn, sweet malts, toast, and a metallic note. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a corny, metallic mouthfeel. An amber ale that drinks like an adjunct lager.

Orange amber color, no head. No freshness date. Smells like butter toffee crunch n munch. Not as buttery on the palate. Bit of a weird almost chlorine-like thing on the finish.

Tap at brewpub. Pours fine enough looking amber with thin head. Nose of malt and hops. Tastes of bread, malt, nutty, hops, and water. Pretty thin on palate but some crispness

Another local Amber for Sedona, AZ. Definitely a good and drinkable beer, I like it a lot. However, as amber ales go, it lacks caramel and is a little low gravity. Hops are good, but nothing special. Head retention is non-existent (lack of protien?). All in all, I do enjoy drinking this beer.

Tasted at the Brewery. All around average amber ale. Sweet, slightly hoppy, crisp and balanced finish.

Served on tap at the North Rim, Grand Canyon lodge. Aroma was a nice mix of sweet malts with a fruity hue. Coloring was a rich amber with a light head and lacing that held up. Taste was malty with a slightly nutty twist and moderate to light hopping. The mouthfeel was decent. Overall, I thought this was a nice amber that complemented the view overlooking the Grand Canyon.

A clea golden/amber colored beer with a thick off white head. The aroma of fruits with some caramel malt. The taste of sweet fruits with caramel and a little bitter. The aftertaste is sweet with bitter.

Light head amber pour, there is kind of a nice heavy thing going on in the palate but, an extreme deficit of taste and aroma. That thick weird taste that is on my palete is reminiscent of...a candy bar? Shit. Who knows. Flush it.
