COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Gold medal winner in the 2002 North American Brewers' Association competition, this richly gold-colored lager beer has a crisp hop note. It maintains its zest and balance of hops and malt from start to finish. It is a cold lagered and naturally carbonatedall-malt beer. It is very versatile beer that can be enjoyed alone or with nearly any type of food.

Holy crap I wonder when I will learn to stop drinking these boring ass worthless pale lagers? I guess when I decide to stop rating. Until then...tick tick tick!

12oz bottle acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!). Poured a lighter and clear orangish color with a small sized white head. Aromas of some grain, toasted malts, and light grass. Tastes of grains, light citurs, and I was getting light caramel. Thin and watery.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt hint of orange. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle courtesy of cbkschubert: Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Grainy pale malty aroma has some light strawberry and caramel notes. Body starts slightly thin with some grainy pale malty flavor and a touch of floral noble hops and lager yeast character. Slightly better than most pale lagers, but still pretty bland.

Draft. Golden-amber beer with a whitish head. Hay and sweet malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor with light grainniness. Medium-light bodied. Sweet malt and light grain lingers.

Bottle courtesy of rustychiles. Pours gold with a white head. Smells of citrus, straw, some floral hints, a touch of dry malt. Tastes of caramel, a hint of pepper, some subtle citrus, hay. Nice dry finish.

Bottle: Fiery straw, moderate sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Musty underarm grainy aroma, slight sock, a little bit of vegetable, toss in some wet cardboard, and pizza dough.   Thin malt flavor, slightly grassy, not so bad on the tongue as on the nose.   Very thin tho, finishes quick, too watery.   Only very pale malts on this one, and even then they are so very light.   Nothing I would have again.

On tap at the brewpub. Pits golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, fruitiness, some herbal notes and grains. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some malt, herbal notes and bread. Medium body, average carbonation.

Pours a misty bronze color, light head and lacing. The nose is sweet and biscuity with a lightly floral hop note, a touch of bread and malt with just a fluff of huskyness. The flavor is nice and creamy, balanced body, moderate mouthfeel for the style and finishes on a lightly bitter tail. Nutty finish and a bit sweet overall, but tasty!

On tap at the Oak Creek Brewery and Grill. Medium golden pour, crisp, bubbly white head. Aroma pretty neutral with some fresh lake water accents coming through. Clean, crisp lager flavor. Good balance of hops and malt and it finishes with a good hoppy bite. Very refreshing sitting out on the patio on a hot Sedona afternoon.
