COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Gold medal winner in the 2002 North American Brewers' Association competition, this richly gold-colored lager beer has a crisp hop note. It maintains its zest and balance of hops and malt from start to finish. It is a cold lagered and naturally carbonatedall-malt beer. It is very versatile beer that can be enjoyed alone or with nearly any type of food.

Fruity aroma. First initial taste was corn. Tasted like an American Standard as in Budweiser. Was looking forward to trying this beer. Bland and boring. Not impressed.

12 oz Bottle: Labeld simply as ’Gold Lager’. Pours a light golden color, a little more orange/yellow than standard gold. A head from my agressive pour is minimal and disappears quickly. The aroma is of lemons, pine, and wood with a little bit of hops. The flavor is a little of apples, pee, a touch of hops. a quick hitting light palate.

5000 (5000) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 30, 2007
Bottle: Fiery straw, moderate sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Musty underarm grainy aroma, slight sock, a little bit of vegetable, toss in some wet cardboard, and pizza dough.   Thin malt flavor, slightly grassy, not so bad on the tongue as on the nose.   Very thin tho, finishes quick, too watery.   Only very pale malts on this one, and even then they are so very light.   Nothing I would have again.
