Commercial Description:
A 2002 Bronze Medal Winner in the North American Brewers' Association competition. This northern Arizona favorite has a consistent nutty flavor with just a hint of spice in its depths. A slowly emerging bitterness crops up along the way and is unobtrusively incorporated into the smooth flow. It finishes with a gentle nuttiness and spiciness. Excellent with sandwiches and subs.

Beer from Deaz from TalkNCAA.com Poured into a pint glass. Darker than I had expected, almost black. No light is escaping this puppy. First sip was surprising, as it was a bit syrupy and thick. For a beer that’s not over 8% alcohol, this is about as slow drinking as it gets. It’s not a bad beer, not by any means, but with as many fantastic craft brews that are out there, I doubt I will enjoy this one again.

Poured a dark amber color from the tap with a hick white head of foam. Malty and balanced with the flavor of hazelnut. Highly drinkable. Easily the best beer I tried at their brewery.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of caramel as well as a light touch of phenol. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops, caramel, and bread, leading to a dry caramel finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
