A - Pours a clear garnet/amber with a 1.5 finger kahki head
S - Honey, brown bread, waffle batter, raisins, sugar coated black walnut, ripe plums, molasses.
T - Strong honey hits the palate followed by raisin brown bread, light brown sugar, strong tea tannins, and some malty undertones. Finishes sweet and malty.
M - Light side of medium body with low carbonation.
Leans on a raisin infused malt background. Lots of honey and nuts here. Sweetness carries through to the finish.

Ruby light brown. Big fluffy beige head. Cocoa. Toast. Nutty. Berries. Bigger light body. A bit of roast. A hint of sweetness. No bitterness. A fine classic brown ale, but its a style in desperate need of some innovation.

Bottle at the November 2015 DC Gathering. Poured a brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light caramel notes, some nutty notes. Flavor had toffee, roasted notes, caramel. Nutty. Pretty tasty.

12oz bottle pours a murky brown with some foamy, white head. Nose has almond skin, bread, malt, light brown sugar. Flavor is sweet, brown sugar, malt. Mild and chalky finish.

On tap at Black Hole Brewing. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is nuts and caramel. Medium mouth, nuts, sweet, metallic finish, decent.

Draft. Poured a clear brown color with an average creamy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt, nuts and spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good brew.

Pour on tap at the brewery, reddish brown with white head, aroma brought notes of slight nutty note, grain, hints of bread, touch of red fruit, hints of spice, touch of yeast. Taste was a mix of yeast, bread, nuts, hints of red fruit into a bit of yeast, finishing fairly watery.
