Poured amber from the tap with a thick head of white foam. Run-of-the-mill pale ale. Not overwhelmingly bitter, but loaded with hops. Couldn’t finish the sample.

Sampled on tap @ the brewery...nothing remarkable. How many times can you say citrus and pine and make it sound interesting??? If the beer gave me more, I’d give you more. More gold than orange with decent white head. All the flavors and aromas are there just not in any concentration that would make someone ache for another.

Received from Deaz at TalkNCAA.com Poured into an Oklahoma State Cowboys English pint glass with immediate carbonation release that maintained throughout the pour. Beautiful golden color. Extremely subtle nose with a hint of sweetness. Back of the tongue registers the bitter malt, while there’s something almost citrusy left behind for the aftertaste. Drinks well, but not super easy.

Thanks to cbkschubert for the bottle. Slightly hazy orange with a near medium head. Aroma of floral and earthy hops along with caramel malt. Medium-light body. Bitter grassy finish. Seems somewhat typical.

12 ounce bottle from Matt. Pours light amber with a little bit of with head. The aroma is very malt forward. Very biscuity. Same for the flavor for that matter. Just enough hop character to keep this from being completely one dimensional. A bit heavier that I’d prefer too. Sweet caramel finish. Low carbonation.

crystal clear copper color with a thin white head. caramel aroma with mild pine and citrus hops. flavor is the same and reminiscent of iced tea. the finish is piney and lingers for a short while. light bodied and rather watery but it’s still creamy when sloshed around a bit. pretty mediocre until it warms...

Skyview (5023) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - DEC 10, 2007
Served from 12-oz bottle at Morton’s Steakhouse in Scottsdale, AZ. Pours a clear medium copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that has some good lacing. Aroma of mostly grapefruit and orange zest, some light caramel malt and some hidden floral. Taste is medium bodied, nicely carbonated with a biscuit and caramel flavor with plenty of orange citrus zest. Finish is slightly semi-sweet, bitter with a lingering orange zest aftertaste.

Draft at the brewery. Dark auburn color with a small head. Nice rich, malty, bready aroma with some bitterness. Flavor’s a little more malty than I expected from the description, although it is well balanced. Really nice, even flavor of caramel, citrus, and pine. Not as overwhelming as I’d expected from the awards it has won, but still a really nice APA.

Copper pour, small white head that fades to nothing. Aroma is floral hops. Flavor is caramel, biscuits and a big floral hop presence and grapefruit. Very drinkable with just a medium-high bitterness and great crispness to it.
