3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is burned toast, dark berries and oak. Interesting despite muddled hop-notes. Taste is driven forward by cherry notes and then consumed by toasted malt and woody pangs. Bitterness is grainy and unrefined. Becomes a little torturous towards the bottom of the glass. It’s a very savoury-oriented beer and is inaccessible to anyone other than the most ardent drinker.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
A slightly reddish, dark brown beer with a dense, medium and beige head. The nose has nutty malts, wood, some roastiness, herbal hoppyness in the end. Medium bodied, pleasant and smooth carbonation, almost velvety to drink. Stone has brewed again a velvet beer, that’s great. Wooden beer which I couldn’t find the final purpose, a basic good beer.
