Draft at Stone Brewery. An amber color with a nice headd. Sweet caramel like scent. A lot of flavor in this very good beer.

Bottle, 12oz. The almost clear, amber body is topped by a beige head of moderate size, and releases aromas of sugars, some vanilla and piney hops. Sweet, full-bodied and slightly warming in the mouth, almost candy sweet. Vanilla, resin and pine-cones also chime in. Malty-sweet and piney in the finish. The beer needs a little time to reveal all of itself, and when it does, it’s a good one. Still, nothing extraordinary, as I maybe expected. (081003)

Bright reddish amber, a delight to behold. Very sweet caramel aroma, overlaid by leafy hops. First taste is sweet, rising swiftly in a sharp bitter crescendo to a piney, hoppy conclusion with oily Seville orange and peachiness. I thought this was rather more stylish and drinkable than the standard version.

Thanks, bro! Pours a ruby color with lots of particulate and a medium whispy off-white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is piney hops, caramel malts, and oak chip juice. Taste is...um...a malt-driven IPA that has been brewed in mulch you’d buy from your local nursery. Not horrible, but nothing worthy of the 97 percentile.

Pours dark dark amber with a white head. Good taste of wonderful smoked hops. Very smooth feel in the mouth with a good finish.

Bottle. deep amber pour with a lite tan head. Big malts and hop aroma. Ridiclous flavor! Giant IPA characteristic with a touch of oak.....duh.......Great lacing on the glass. This stuff is always a treat.

12oz bottle at Winking Lizard Crosswoods location. Pours a deep amber with a huge off-white head. Hoppy aroma with some caramelly malt. Nice sweet and bitter balance on the flavor. Drinkable considering the abv.
