One of the best I’ve had. Goes well with a handful of almonds. PapaSkeetSkeet (65), , Massachusetts, USA Jul 12, 2009 Strong smell of pineapple with hops. Pours brown with a little white head on top. Sweet, caramel, dark bread. Grass, slightly bitter finish. A very nice beer but not outstanding. imdownthepub (5089), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jul 5, 2009 Cask conditioned at The White Horse, Parsons Green, London. Thick dark brown with no head. Heavy, sugary, sweet toffee like, chocolatey beer. Totally flat unfortunately and cloying. Some fruitiness in the close, but I couldn’t really get on with this.
