Medium tan head. Dark amber color. Even and light, not very transparent. Full, well balanced taste with caramel flavor and aroma. If you have had the original Arrogant Bastard Ale then the oak chips are existent in the aroma and obvious in the beers finish. does stone ever let us down? Call me an oaked arrogant bastard, because i think its unbelievable.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head; leaves some lacing in glass. Aroma is subtle mix of malt, oak, and hops. Flavor is roasted malt, dried fruit, oak, and bitter hops. One of the best I’ve had. Goes well with a handful of almonds.

Strong smell of pineapple with hops. Pours brown with a little white head on top. Taste is similar to the smell, perhaps stronger and syrupy. Good feel in the mouth with lots of solids and bitterness in the finish

Bottle. Dark amber color with a small off white head that stays. Toasty caramel with a bitter finish. I taste a hint of vanilla.

Cask at the American beer fest White Horse, London. Deep brown ale with small head. Aroma of caramel, dark fruit. Tastes of caramel, hops, dark fruit, vanilla, a malty heavy number. Really enjoyable, more please.

Love Arrogant Bastard. LIke this better. Exactly what I was expecting. I bit more viscous than I like. Great big oakey flavor.

Bottle. Dark brown with small, beige head. Sweet, caramel, dark bread. Grass, slightly bitter finish. A very nice beer but not outstanding.

Cask conditioned at The White Horse, Parsons Green, London. Thick dark brown with no head. Heavy, sugary, sweet toffee like, chocolatey beer. Totally flat unfortunately and cloying. Some fruitiness in the close, but I couldn’t really get on with this.
