Bottled. A dark amber beer with a dark orange head. The aroma is extremely hoppy which gives it strong notes of grapefruit, but it also has strong notes of alchol. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and grapefruit, and only hints of vanilla, leading to a dry bitter end. Nice - but to me the oak notes are too subdued.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Very pleasant hop aroma. Medium body with some caramel. A very discreet whiff of aroma hops, but otherwise just a raw and unrefined bitterness. A bit of a disappointment. 291206

Bottled. Mahogany colour, small creamy head. Powerful grapefruity hop aroma that collides abrubtly with oak. Sweet and rounded with solid caramelly body. Massively hoppy, citric and grapefruity. The oak and hops bitterness combine to an unpleasantly inky finish.

From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours a clear golden amber with a creamy tan head. Mellowed down in aroma and flavour on malt and bread compared to the none-oaked version, but goes rather smooth and light. Smooth finish too with a mild spice note.

Bottle. [<a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=5 target=_new> Courtesy of wetherel]. Unclear hazy medium orange amber color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, notes of milk chocolate, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - grape, moderate oak, notes of vanilla. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. (Acrid bitter). Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. (040408)

Bottle, 7.2%. Nice, bonbony sweet hop aroma. Almost clear red/brown colour. Very bitter flavour with good aroma hops. Ends on a weak, but nice, vanilla, cigarbox aftertaste.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is big fruity and grassy hops along with some wood and berries. Flavour is much the same with some licorice and sweet fruits.
