3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Thaichile (599) - 10aFly, New Jersey, USA - AUG 31, 2008Bottle. Pours a hazed yellow with no head and no discernable carbonation. Nose is citrus and spices. Flavor was filled with spice and sweet breakfast bread, with some orange zest. A very delicious wit. I’m a little puzzled by the lackof carbonation, but the flavors were totally there. Thanks to lewis13 for this one.

bottle - Pours hazy straw colored with a huge fizzy white head and a few dark suspended yeast particles. It smells of spices and yeast. The flavor is spicy and sweet with a touch of banana. It’s light bodied at a bit watery. Sweet spiciness lingers on the palate. Okay.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy straw yellow. Tastes of orange peels and corriander. Fairly carbonated. Weak for a wheat beer.

12oz bottle pours almost alimony yellow color, with bright white bubbly head that doesn’t last for very long. Aroma is of straw and wheat and a bit of lemon. The flavor is quite strong with wheat and a lemon sensation. I know there is coriander and orange peel in there as well. The finish is quite crisp and carbonating. Drinkable.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 rondphoto (979) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - OCT 22, 2011
Hazy golden with big head that quickly leaves, no lacing. Taste is of wheat and a little corn(?), with a touch of coriander, orange, and lemon. Finish is a biting carbonation. I can drink it, but why bother?

bottle... has to be the worst looking witbier I’ve seen, an ugly pissy straw with an off white, decent retention... nose of piss with coriander, wonderful... tastes sort of ok, super sweet, almost a candyish quality, but really true to the style, almost a sour finish... pass
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 WolfsBlood84 (172) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - APR 13, 2011
12 oz. Bottle - Very fresh, just released about 2 weeks ago. If poured like a Wit should be, it’s a glass of cloudy orange brew with huge mountainous, cloudy, foamy, white head. Good lacing. Looks simply amazing. Aroma is big citrus, orange, lemon, zesty, subtle spices. Taste is slightly above average, subtle orange/lemon, a bit of spices, most notably cinnamon, clove, coriander, etc. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t taste all that much different than something like a Blue Moon. It’s got way more character, and definitely wins out appearance wise, but much of the flavor is lost. Mouthfeel is over-carbonated and a bit watery, however, it is highly drinkable. Overall, an American Wit that just a bit more to be a really good example of the style - drinkable, refreshing, but very average.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Tripplebrew (764) - Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA - APR 8, 2011
Pours a hazy lemon yellow with very thin, bright white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is earthy mix of hay, malt/bread, spice, coriander and floral undertones. Flavor is a mix of caramel, banana, clove, coriander, bread and earthy hay undertones. Body is light with a bit of creaminess and very active carbonation.

BOTTLE. not particularly good, but not particularly bad either. some wheat laden orangepeels and light spicing. nott too offensive, but nothing that makes you want to go back for a 20th sip either. a la basterd she says.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 wnoble (918) - French Lick, Indiana, USA - JUL 16, 2010
Pours a yeasty pale gold with a brilliant white head. Very light aroma of belgian yeast, some spices, fruits and the infamous wheat malt. Initially the taste is like a good saison then finishes evident with the spices. Some stinging bitterness from the lively carbonation. A good wit just not amazing.
