3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
March Tosa Tasting ala MrFacto. Hazy Golden color with a small white head. Citrus and floral aromas with only a hint of malt. Slightly bitter grapefruit comes to mind with the first sip. No malt depth or real presence for that matter. More grapefruit zest in the finish with not malt to help.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderate off-white head and a few floaties in it. Nose is quite light and has a little bit of hoppiness to it. Taste has a light bit of bitterness up front, but has a strong malt backbone to it. Not a lot to this beer, but itís fairly drinkable.

slightly tart, and that seems to ruin the beer completely. Seems like an off bottle unfortunately.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle from Keg Liquors in New Albany, IN. Pours a mostly clear, copper colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is papery pines with some toasty, bready caramels. Some grapefruits and florals. Flavor is thinner caramels and slightly toasty, bready pale malts up front before a good amount of bitter, earthy pines come in. Some grapefruits and light floral notes before this finishes dry and bitter with some citrus and a light malt balance. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-thin body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a slightly thin, but bitter pale ale. Well hopped with a light citrus flavor and a bit of a toasted, bready caramel. Eh.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Poured amber and cloudy, barely any head. Aroma is strongly hopped, taste is bitter and spice, like a weak IPA...very wishy-washy blend to it...no date, maybe an old bottle. not good....cool label, though.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy golden honey color with generous head and spider-web lacing. Taste begins and ends with piney hops; notes of malt and grass and citrus are there, but always behind the hops. Make it a one-taste wonder, donít you think? But,....if you like American hops, youíll like this a lot.
