Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Mar 16, 2006 Near black colour. Mainly coffeeish nose has light nutty accents and a whaff of yeast. Fairly roasty character with dark chocolate and light citrusy hop notes. Robust, flavourful rendition. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/20/2007

argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA Jan 23, 2005 Red-black body, NO2-tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, coffee, nutty, chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, coffee/burnt, light roasty. Watery medium body, light carbonation. hopdog (4525), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 26, 2007 12oz bottle acquired in trade with OhioDad (thanks!). Poured a dark brown color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of stronger chocolate, cocoa, caramel, roast, and a trace of coffee. Tastes of roast, chocolate, and coffee. Lacing left on the glass. As good looking as this was and as good as the aroma, the tastes were a little bit of a let down. Cornfield (4255), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Nov 5, 2006 Very dark brown bodied with a skinny li’l tan head, this has an aroma of chocolate covered dark caramel and a splash of coffee. A slight touch of vanilla enters the taste picture. The finish is similar to that of finishing an iced coffee. Not bad.
