Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2010)
6 touch of butter but otherwise rich.
4 deep gold, flat
7 simple sweet malty palate
4 low carbonation, supersoft palate, a touch sweet and sticky, but lovely. Without the sweetness this would be 5
15 fuck me 7.5 percent. No way.

On cask at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of alcohol, caramel, oak, candy sugar and grassy hops. Similar flavours with candy sugar and alcohol both quite prominent. Just a little sweet. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. OK.

Leighton (11860) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2012
Gravity cask at The Old Fountain Beer Festival, October 2012. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a tight, creamy white head. Boozy aroma with tangy citrus notes. Medium to big sweet flavors, plenty of boozy citrus fruits, some heavy dough. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with more alcohol-soaked fruits, jammy citrus, orange, light leaves, some sugars. Not a subtle tipple, but still decent.

Scopey (7404) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2013
Cask at George, Croydon. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is earth, straw, honey, perfumed, floral, apple and pear drops. The taste is soft fruit...melon, apricot, pear, honey, light toast, sweet bread, alcohol kick, light pine and some spice with a dry, bitter-sweet finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth, well balanced and pretty drinkable at this sort of abv. Good work.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2009 Feb 2004 White Cliffs Winter Ales Fest. Gravity. A huge and very pleasant barley wine - a big rush of pale malt, splendidly and gently sweet, perfectly balanced with a delicate and floral hop envelope. Nice indeed. [3.2]

Cask, gravity dispense at Merton Summer Beer Festival July 18th and 19th 2008 (Yet another beer that I had on the Saturday morning when all was quite and after icing up , this was quite nice for breakfast at 07:30) Honey and hop dominate the nose of this almost straw coloured very light beer with a white foamy head sat atop. In a blind tasting I think that I would fail miserably at guessing the strength of this beer as it drank like a session ale. A nice floralness about this along with diluted honey and a delicate bitterness., its not a world beater and not even close to the best that Oakham can do but that aside its actually pretty good..

Doppelganger (1388) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - JUL 29, 2008
Gravity, ’08 Merton Summer Festival. Ultra pale gold, soapy white head. Bright flowery nose with blackberries. Caramel sweetness tangled up with dried flowers, hint of mineral oil. Very light body. Fresh and good, but doesn’t make all that much use of it’s strength. For the level of interest here, why not drink the 4% bitter it tastes like?
