3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2013 Bottled 28/07/12. A golden beer with barely any head. Nice tropical fruit hop flavours and aromas. A nice slick hoppy bitter. Good pale malts. A nice length of flavour. Tasty. A touch of glue in the nose is the only spoiler. Score 3.6
Subsequent ratings scored 3.5 and 3.5 Average becomes 3.5

Bottle. Pours a a nice golden straw with a thin white head. Nose is hoppy with lemons and light citrus notes. In the mouth, very lemony and zesty, with a little grapefruit. Balanced well with the malt taking the edge off. Surprisingly light in the mouth and this is incredibly sessionable. Finish is bittersweet and well balanced. Good beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle, just out of date when opened on 26 July 2012. This is very, very simular to the cask version (which is always a good thing).
Pours a pale yellow with next to no white head.
The smell is all citrusy hops with grapefruit coming through, no malt hints at all.
The taste is a crisp grapefruit induced hoppy flavour, again with very little maltiness to be found, some yeasty hints around in the aftertaste.
Iím a malt man, but this has class and deserves the high scores iíve given it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden pour with little head and little lacing. Smells of hops, citrus, hay, and fruit. Clean, beautiful tasting quite like it smells and dry at the end It really is a refreshing well made beer. Crisp mouth feel great carbonation and just a great overall bitter. I will be buying more of these.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head and an aroma of fresh citrus and hops. The taste starts out sweet with notes of malts and fruits but really quick the hop bitterness comes kicking in. A nice beer!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAY 24, 2012 BB 10/01/13. Briliant, steady fizzing gold with a tight white collar. Disappointingly buttered aroma sprinkled with crushed Refreshers. Stale, pronouncedly alcoholic with grassiness, butter and lemon zest notes leaving a disjointed, quinine bitterness at the back of the tongue. Lychee hints- too little too late. Unrecognisable, and 45 beers in, my first negative experience of an Oakham beer.

50 cl bottle @ Pub Kultainen Apina.
Rated on 20110712.
Pours cloudy orange color with minimal head. Aroma of wheaty hops, apricot and some honey noes. Flavor of light hoppy fruits, mild citrus, distant banana and honey. Crisp and carbonated palate with a sweetish finish. Decent golden ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange-gold. Light, persisting head. Citrus and slightly piney aroma and some faint, lightly toasty cereal and sweetness. Spicy hops and citrus, fairly dry. Tangy citrus balanced by biscuity malt. Good mouthfeel, slightly creamy. Quite long citrus aftertaste. Easy drinking, but satisfying and good balance.
