Cask @Wheatsheaf in Crick - pale straw coloured with a lasting white froth, bit of a tropical citric bite, nose very floral and a bit spicy. Very good.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2012. Big floral aroma! I initially thought it was the soap on my hands as I'd just been to the toilet, but no, it was the beer and typically Oakham! Beautiful hoppy bitterness in the flavour that hits the palate right away. Very refreshing indeed. Another Oakham classic!

First of the night and didnít get a rewind. Ok. And we all know what ok means. Pleasant enough but lacked character. Like a drunk at the bar then. Plenty tonight. Took an age to get served. Yada yada yada.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2012 Cask at Barton Arms; yellow straw colour with small white head. Hoppy aroma with some floral notes. Hoppy citrus slight malty backbone. Iíve not had a bad Oakham beer.

Half pint into a pint glass at Ealing Beer Festival 2012. Golden, with an unstable head. Nice grapefruit aroma. Smooth and nicely hopped.

Half pint @Castle Hotel, 04.Jul.2012
Clear hay coloured body, small dense head that diminishes and leaves a tiny layer. Hops, tangerines, flowers and fruit. Hint of coriander (?) in aroma, fresh oranges, snap peas, green grass and grain. Dry finish. Yummy!

Cask- Blacksmiths Arms (St Albans) - yellow pour ( looks like Coors Light) tastes much better. Lemon zest beginning, strawberry mash mellow mouth feel, very sweet finish. Great for a warm sunny afternoon.

No sorry this one is just a bit bland for our taste. Usually Oakham does better. Too much of the rat piss finish and not enough hop aroma. -- raided in the wild, via Beer Buddy app
