500ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a decent head and good lacing. Flavours of stone fruits - peach, apricot and nectarine. A good citrus background with a little grass and mild grain. Sweetness and bitterness in very good balance here, leaving a moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Very nice indeed, this would make an excellent session beer.

Pale golden coloured ale with an ugly bubbly head. Its character is hoppy tropical fruits in both aroma and taste but with a bitter aftertaste.

Cask @ Staggs Musselburgh 190113
Pale straw, clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma - soft citrus hops, light pale malts, not a lot in the nose
Taste - light pale malts, soft fruits, dab of apricot
Palate - light to thin body, fairly oily texture overall, bit creamy. Finish s main flavour, slight dry, soft bitter zest linger
Overall - It was OK but the least impressive of the 3 Oakhams I tried tonight

Cask @Wheatsheaf in Crick - pale straw coloured with a lasting white froth, bit of a tropical citric bite, nose very floral and a bit spicy. Very good.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2012. Big floral aroma! I initially thought it was the soap on my hands as I'd just been to the toilet, but no, it was the beer and typically Oakham! Beautiful hoppy bitterness in the flavour that hits the palate right away. Very refreshing indeed. Another Oakham classic!

First of the night and didnít get a rewind. Ok. And we all know what ok means. Pleasant enough but lacked character. Like a drunk at the bar then. Plenty tonight. Took an age to get served. Yada yada yada.

Cask. Pale golden beer. Smells like its gonna be hoppy! Tastes like it is hoppy but a nice amount, like you expect from Oakham beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: APR 15, 2013 Cask at the Ribs/Rose. Golden and very smooth with a short-lived but surprisingly dense head. Lots of flavour and quite bitter for a golden beer with strong hops. Nice caramels from the grain and a hint of vanilla, which stop the citrus from being to sharp. Excellent session beer.
