Cask; Special - June 2010.
Brewed in response to comments from Oakademy of Excellence Members who wanted lower gravity beers.
Chinook is the 2nd in the series of single hop variety beers. Gold in colour, with a rich aroma of gooseberries, lime, and grapefruit. The flavour starts off with smooth citrus before leading into an intensive tart grapefruit with a seriously dry finish.

Cask at the Live and Let Live, Cambridge. Bright amber with a loose white head; the aroma has some light spicy hops; the flavour is dominated by sharp and sweet grapefruit; the finish is clean and lemony. A really good Golden Ale.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned handpump Slug and Lettuce Leicester. A blonde beer with a white head and lacing. Cat pee and white wine in the aroma which are way too sharp and a little uninviting. Very bitter and sharp in the mouth. The hops need something to balance to cut through the bitterness which is definitely astringent. A struggle to be honest, but still has its joyous moments.
