COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask and bottle; Regular. 4.2% in cask.
The first of our single hop variety beers. We were the first brewery in the UK to use Citra. The beer proved so popular that we will be brewing it again. Permanent from January 2011.
A light refreshing beer with pungent grapefruit, lychee and gooseberry aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.

500ml bottle into an English pint glass. Pours a rather pale cornish-yellow colour with a pillowy lasting head. Citrus and grapefruit flavour with moderate bitterness, and quite dry. Pleasant, light.

Pours a scary macro morning urine, crystal clear, white head, decent bit of lace. Big fresh citrusy, piney hops all over the nose with the slightest hint of malt. Pretty simple on the palate too. Lots of grapefruit and spruce, a little on the light side. Finishes lightly bitter. A great daytime drinking sort of beer but ultimately lacking any interesting character.

a tough one to get fresh, opened with a friend, good citra aroma, a little metallic, very thin body with not much hop flavors, its ok, but americans are much better at hops.

500 ml bottle. Hazy pale yelow color with small white head. Very distinct fruity hops aroma (citrus and lychee). Refreshing flavour of citrus, a bit bitter and very dry hoppy finish. Very refreshing with a distinct aroma.

On hand-pull cask at Oakha (Kennington). Clear pale gold with a solid long lasting white thick foamy plug of head. Aroma is a massively catty/grassy golden ale - taste follows, some wheat/gluten stickiness, light alcohol. Light body, mild carbonation, longish pungent catty finish so damned drinkable!

Very light pale straw gold pour with one to two fingers of very light and loose frothy white head. Raw fruit and citrus in the nose with some bready notes and diacetyl. Citrus rind and dactyl in the flavor. Spicy/zesty and goes pretty well with a lightly spicy flavor. Very light and dry.

Pale gold with small white head. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus. Taste of grapefruit and citrus, dry palate. Nice but would be better more carbonated.

Bottle @ union tavern. Clear golden color, short head. Aroma of tropical fruit, lychee, slight buttery. Soft bitter taste, but fruity, hint of caramel. Decent beer, but could have been more refreshing perhaps.
