The first of our single hop variety beers. We were the first brewery in the UK to use Citra. The beer proved so popular that we will be brewing it again. Permanent from January 2011.
A light refreshing beer with pungent grapefruit, lychee and gooseberry aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.

Pours clear amber with low white head. Aroma of grapefruit, light pine, citrus, ripe peach, actually light gooseberry. Taste is crisp, bitter and slightly bready with a somewhat astringent bitter finish. Light, smooth body with soft carbonation.

Bottle from B&M. Golden brown with notes of lychee and lemon on the nose. Spritzy bitterness with hints of currant leaf, lemon and twig, over a juicy and slightly toasted malty base. Lovely.

On cask at The Salopian Bar in Shrewsbury. Very pale yellow, minimal off-white head. Intense citrus nose; bathroom cleaner, air freshener. Lovely citrus and pine flavours on the palate with some subtle biscuity malt. Fantastic balance and eminently quaffable, a true classic.

LazyPyro (480) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2015
UPDATED: APR 7, 2016 500ml bottle. Clear golden colour, small but lasting white head with some lacing. Aroma is very hoppy - purely tart citrus fruits - grapefruit, orange rind, mango, some floral. Flavour is refreshingly citric, if a little overpowering in that respect. Low carbonation so a nice mouthfeel. Bittersweet citrus finish.

Dourado escuro, translúcida. Espuma de media formação e pouca retenção. Aroma de lúpulo presente, tendendo para terroso, dulçor remete a lichia. Sabor levemente frutado, amargor leve, dulçor marginal. Corpo e carbonatação leves. Aftertaste refrescante, lupulado, final um pouco seco.
