Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. A standard Golden from these lads, but with an extra bolt of sweet fruit on the early stages. Dry thereafter. Very good, as per.

Cask - The Plasterer’s Arms, Norwich. Poured a clear, darkish golden yellow with a fine, mostly lasting frothy white head. A lime, lemon, grapefruit, pine, citrus rind & marmalade profile. Crisp, very bright, quite tight, moreish & refreshing. Light to medium body, firm mouthfeel. Simple but effective.

Cask conditioned at The Smithfield Arms, Derby. Gold with white head. Lovely tasting zesty beer, sharp tangy hoppy flavours on a crisp, biting body. Fully refreshing and the best beer of a long day. Lovely stuff.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A light golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of lemons and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrusy hops, malt, and orange blossom flowers.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Very pale gold, thin white head. Initially a bit yeasty on aroma but then the hops pick up. Really good lemony hops. Excellent lemon curd flavours. Just so much better than run of the mill beers.

5th August 2010. GBBF.
Clear gold beer with a little white head. Slightly sulphurous hop nose. Light dry palate. Light orangey hops but sulphur interferes again. Over dry finish. Expect better from Oakham.

On gravity at Worcester Beer Festival, 14/08/10. Pale gold with a slight, white head. Big, grapefruit hop aroma with a touch of sweetness. Flavour was similar with some added apricot, leading to a long, dry finish. Very good.
