Cask handpump at the Eldon Arms - Reading. Pours clear, deep russet-gold with a creamy white head. The aroma holds ripening citrus fruits, a little pine, bread.light sweet flavor with some rindy orange bitterness, lightly toasted bread, faint grains, pine, melon. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Decent balance to finish, some furred rind, pine, slight leafy hops, dry bready malts. Good beer.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Another, yet another great Oakham beer. Very pale, very hoppy. Plenty of lychee, pineapple and so forth. Glides across the tongue, but retains a really fruity stickiness, like juice from tinned fruit. Excellent.
