Pale yellow appearance, little head. Best IPA I’ve had. Strong fruity flavour on impact, settles to a fantastic heavy aftertaste (for an IPA). Great beer.

Bright clear gold beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate, fresh and a little dry. Light malt base. Fabulous hop fruits here. Hardly any bitterness. Piney sweetness. Loads of tropical fruits. Mango dominates but there is orange, pineapple and melon too. All sorts of other fruits well buried. Finishes semi dry. Superb!

Cask at CBC Brixton. Pours a straw colour with little carbonation. Great aroma - big sweet lychee smell. It's lovely - lots of sweet lychee in the flavour too which give way to a grapefruit citrus bitterness to finish. Very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On cask at The Bow Bar, Edinburgh.Pours almost clear dark golden, small white head. Aroma is strong citrus and pine. Taste is good fresh hops, still mellow and smooth, pine, lemon and grapefruit. Light sweet finish with a bitter fresh piney bite at the utter end. Good.

Cask, half pint at North Bar. Filmy layer blanketing the glassware. Bright golden body colour. Dried fruity nose with apricot to the fore. Grapefruit and orange flavours promoting a mild marmalade impression. Mid-dry bitter tail. Medium bodied. Well-made Brit IPA (Leeds 01.07.2013).

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This is a light golden coloured beer with a thin white head. It has orange marmalade and sharp citrus flavours with bitter pine on the finish. Very good indeed.

Cask at the Beacon Hotel, Sedgely. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is hoppy with citrus fruit. The flavour is grassy nettle hop bitter with some spicy pepper and liqourice on the palate. It’s a rather rich beer with loads of complex flavours. A winner from Oakham.

Nose doesn’t prepare you for the massive citra hit! Lovely. Quite malty but balanced with powerful hoppyness.

My Bottom Line:
In this dazzling New World-style IPA citrusy hop resins tango over delicately honeyed cereals, dreaming of flowers blooming in the forest.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam protects the clear golden, drawing some lacing.
-The aftertaste is wonderfully coniferous, and never too brash to make the next sip smaller.
-Drinkability is very high for a 6% brew.
-Carbonation is mild and the body slick.
-The bartender smiled proudly when I ordered my pint… I could tell he was about to drool all over a pint of his own as soon as his shift was over. ☺

On cask at The Live and Let Live, Cambridge.

Bottled, 0.66l. Slightly hazy golden color with medium frothy white head and lively bubbles. Aroma of spicy hops, tropical fruits like lychee and passion fruit plus some biscuity malt. Taste starts swet malty and fruity, while followed by tart citrus notes. Mouthfeel is crisp and mild spicy, finish is strong bitter which quickly becomes into bloody harsh hoppiness. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Green hoppy devil takes care for my grimacing :)
