The beer pours a translucent metallic gold colour with a thin creamy white head that lingers. The aroma is caramel, tropical fruit, grass, and yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is citrus, topical fruit, caramel, and fresh bread. Quite good.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2015 Golden colour with yellow/white head. Aroma of citrus, mango, pineapple. Taste is similar, firstly sweet, with prevailing mango notes, bitter dry finish. Full body, soft carbonation. Good but not superlative.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose brings out biscuity malt, some citrus hops, and a little pine -- but not really that dank, cat piss quality one usually gets from citra. Flavour is more characteristic of the hop, with dank citrus hops upfront, with a little pine and resin, and biscuity malt to back. Dry, crisp and really well-balanced, with a little citrus tang on the finish. Excellent IPA.

A hoppy monster. A hop bomb that delivers a deep resin hit without sacrificing drinkability. There’s a malt back note that slips in as you guzzle it down but it’s just a hint, a red herring that’s washed away by those rampaging hops and a pleasing bitterness that resonates the palate, bouncing off the mellow carbonation, encouraging another gulp. A great bottle, thankfully available as a 500ml beauty.

Bottle; kind gift from Clayton; also had it on keg at Ale House Chelmsford; thanks Alex mate. Top golden colour. Stunning orange and golden haze. Not London-murky but slightly murky. Looks like a well-made US IPA. Bucket loads of pine on aroma. Huge amounts of pilth. Grapefruit and mangos. Taste is awesome. Stunning use of yeast. Citra is excellently used. Mangos and grapefruit. Drinkability is insane. Malt is super clean. Wow wow wow. I love this beer.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2015 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is very tropical of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, pine, mango and some passion fruit. Taste again of grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, pine, resin and orange. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. This is a really good IPA. Well hopped with a good, dry, hoppy, bitter flavours.......................................... Keg at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma again of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, pine, mango, some passion fruit and with grassy hops. Taste of grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, pine, resin, orange and dry, grassy hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation and an oily texture. A dry, crisp, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. After having this in bottle I had high expectations, did not disappoint. Hops are much more dominant on keg, great beer.

Smells of sweet malts, dark fruits and citrus. Tastes of plum ad lemon, pine and oak, along with floral notes and caramel malts. Not bad, not great.
