Golden with a thin creamy white head. Aroma of hops and citrus, hints of alcohol and some fruits. Taste of sweet malt, grassy hops, strong bitterness, citrus and hints of tropical fruit, pear and banana.

Like being punched in the mouth by a lemon fist. If sour - bitter flovours are your thing then green devil won’t disappoint! Personally I prefer this demons little brother - Citra.
Sampled at the black lion in Leighton Buzzard. Found in excellent condition.
Straw coloured, small, short lived lacey head. The aroma on the nose is a warning to your taste buds - like being stroked by a Buddhas hand. Grapefruit is the dominant aroma.
Initial taste is a sweet marmalade hit, momentarily misleading the drinker before the full on hit of the raw green Citra hop takes over. Leaving a long tasting dry after taste.
A great specialist beer - not for everyone but very good a what it does!

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Clean and clear mid-yellow coloured ale with a creamy head. It’s extremely well hopped in both aroma and taste with a fine smooth texture. It’s fairly sour in its taste with lemon and grapefruit really dominant.

Keg at Cloisters. Really big punchy grapefruit and tropical fruit aroma. Flavour is pithy bitterness with a little less of the tropical fruit from the aroma. Really drinkable for the ABV. Excellent.

Although not a dreadful beer this is sure to be a disappointment if u purchase with the rate beer consensus in mind. Pours dark straw, with practically no head. Aroma is recessed and lacking punch, of what is there is citrus pith, marmalade and citrus blossom and slight noble highlights. Taste is one dimensional and fleeting, containing very little in the way of malt and a watered down Citra character. Finish is dry with a a just above average citrus zest bitterness.

Clean golden pour, sudsy small head. Aroma is orange, lemon, grapefruit, earthy spicy hop, a little pine as it warms. Unfortunately carries a little skunk in its bouquet.
Low carbonation, fairly light unrewarding mouth-feel. Taste is pithy orange, tart grapefruit, earthy notes, a little skunk. Has a commendable dry orange-marmalade bitter finish. My main complaint is that it is bereft of discernible malt. It’s like a blow to the head without a head-guard to offer cushioning.

Golden colour. Some pine and orange and grapefruit, with rich pithy bitterness. Lots of marmaladey hop in the finish - sticky/chewy.

Trafford Arms. Yellow beer with a stingey white head. Packed full of punchy citrus lemony hops - this has a nice flavour, but I found it rather one dimensional. Thin body, weak carbonation.
