Cask at The George, Croydon. It pours golden yellow, with a decent off-white head. The nose is sweet orange, tangerine, lime, sweaty sock, urine, rhubarb and custard sweets and grass. The taste is resin, juicy orange, tangy marmalade, big hop bite, spice, pepper, pine and alcohol warmth, with a big bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Massive flavour and drinkability. Probably the best cask IPA I’ve ever had…

Cask at St Albans beer festival 2011. A golden coloured pour with a small white fluffy head on top. Healthy hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit and really quite bitter. Clearly a well made beer but too bitter for my palate, their Dream Catcher is more my kind of thing.

Dean Swift on Cask. Beautiful IPA. Great balance of flavours and a good strength, not over the top

Cask at the Waggon & Horses, Halesowen. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is mango juice. Taste is subtle, mango to start. Mild pine and mango bitter finish.

Gravity cask at Peterbororough BF 2011. Gold with a white head. Oakham Citra on steroids! What more can I say?

Cask at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge England 13th August 2011. Gold with thin white head and a little lacing. Wildly fruity and hoppy. Grapefruit and grass early and late, with an explosion of fruity hoppiness in-mouth.The finish is richly hoppy and satisfyingly intense. Exquisite.

Unclear matt medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, green hops, hop oil. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, acrid grass - fruit, green hops, grassy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20110801]

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy - fizzy and oepn, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, citrus, fruity, light grassy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130119]

Cask (Live&Let Live, Cambridge)
Lovely citrussy aroma. Sweet. Mid orange in colour. Full hoppy taste, well balanced with rich sweet malts. Finish bold and citrussy. Perhaps a bit too big to wow me, I could feel the effects of the alcohol in it, but very well made, certainly.

Cask at the Rake, RBESG 2011. Brilliant golden color. Very bitter and hoppy, citrus grass, pine. Light malt flavor, soft gumballs and lemon. Very nice.

Draught at the Rake, Southwark, London. Hazy golden. Strong citric and floral hop aroma. Medium bodied. Dry with a delicious firm ro pungent bitterness. Wow!
