Golden, white head. Citrus, lime intense aroma. Flavor has citrus, hops, herbs. Bitter finish. Easy, but quite boring.

Cask@eo13. Yellow, some haze. Good citrus, slight grape-y hops, golden pale honey malts on nose. Dry bitter. Very tasty, long hoppy palate. Some honey caramel again, soft malts. Excellent, one of the most pleasently hoppy casks I’ve had.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 3rd Oct 2013. Bright, pale golden brew with a white covering of thin foam. Not as hop bitter as I was expecting, nor as citrusy either. This was a pleasant surprise: I’m not a big Oakham fan to be honest, however I really enjoyed this. The hops rule, but they don’t kill the malt content or take over completely like a lot of Oakham brews tend to do in my eyes. This wasn’t sweet, but there were some fruity notes leading that way at times and I nearly had another half, to confirm my thoughts, but the wife had a swig of my beer and she agreed with me about the semi-sweetness that became evident as the beer warmed a little in the glass.

Tried this a few times on cask, and can’t fault it, would be interesting to try it on keg tough. Overall, an itInteresting English IPA with a slight American hop twist. Not as big on the hops as some of it’s American cousins, but still packs a hop punch.

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2013 Gravity cask at The Salopian, Shrewsbury. Quite a good blend of Citra, good strength, medium body, medium bitterness.. quite a nice pint indeed.

Pale yellow appearance, little head. Best IPA I’ve had. Strong fruity flavour on impact, settles to a fantastic heavy aftertaste (for an IPA). Great beer.

Bright clear gold beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate, fresh and a little dry. Light malt base. Fabulous hop fruits here. Hardly any bitterness. Piney sweetness. Loads of tropical fruits. Mango dominates but there is orange, pineapple and melon too. All sorts of other fruits well buried. Finishes semi dry. Superb!

Cask at CBC Brixton. Pours a straw colour with little carbonation. Great aroma - big sweet lychee smell. It's lovely - lots of sweet lychee in the flavour too which give way to a grapefruit citrus bitterness to finish. Very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On cask at The Bow Bar, Edinburgh.Pours almost clear dark golden, small white head. Aroma is strong citrus and pine. Taste is good fresh hops, still mellow and smooth, pine, lemon and grapefruit. Light sweet finish with a bitter fresh piney bite at the utter end. Good.

Cask, half pint at North Bar. Filmy layer blanketing the glassware. Bright golden body colour. Dried fruity nose with apricot to the fore. Grapefruit and orange flavours promoting a mild marmalade impression. Mid-dry bitter tail. Medium bodied. Well-made Brit IPA (Leeds 01.07.2013).
