Third of a pint on draught at Ealing Beer Festival. Golden/orange, with a fair head. Fine grapefruit aroma. A bit acid, lime and citrus. Dry and bitter, quite tasty.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Gold pour with a white head. Peach, raspberry, moss and pine aroma. Masses of citrus on the palate with a splash of pear and peach. Long hop finish. Tasty.

Cask. Oakham does wonders with citra hops. Big citrus and tropical nose and taste, chewy, oily, sticky beer. A pleasure to have on cask.

Bottle from Beer Ritz. Pours a clear yellow, two fingers of head. Arma is HOPS. Juicy hoppy hops. A bit of sherbet, tropical/citrus fruits, a hint of sweat too. HOPS. Taste is juicy as hell. A little resinous (though that doesn’t dominate), with orange and a bit of lemon. A touch bready on the finish, long and juicy. Medium-full body. This is really good.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2013 Cask conditioned handpump The Pub Leicester 20/07/12. A golden coloured beer. A strong hoppy beer which certainly comes across as an IPA. There is a bit of sweet malt but this is all about the hops. A big body and lots of hop flavours. Typically good from Oakham. Score 3.8

660ml bottle Rehills Ncl. Big grapefruit aroma and taste. Dry, chalky, tropical fruits in abundance. Beautifully pale, delicious tangy aftertaste with a hint of caramel in the finish. Reminiscent of Thornbridge Kipling. Excellent stuff.

Bottle from Utobeer. Even before I’m done cracking the cap on this beer, a huge aroma of pine needles and sharp coniferous grassiness hits my nose. Notes of light orchard fruits and sea salt. The taste is strong hoppy pacific citrus fruits, massive citra mango, and dried lemon peel. Chalky and dry, but very drinkable indeed. The 6% is hidden very well, I downed the 660ml bottle with the smallest of fuss. Mdium body, soft carb. Great.

Bottle at home. Clear orange pour, very thin white head fades to nothing. Awesome rich hoppy nose, pissy Citra, gooseberry, tropical fruits, fruit pastilles, lemon peel, touch of odd spicy blackcurrant even? Really interesting and complex for a SH Citra brew. Amazing juiciness upfront, definite candy character, resinous pine, pithy oranges and lemons, touch of light spice, soft tropical fruits, big pithy bitterness on the finish. Big, bold hop character. A tiny bit thin in body, but considerably better than some American IPAs. Ace.

Bottle. Clear pale golden with a white head. Amazing tropical fruit nose. Pineapple and mango. Flavour is delicious but perhaps doesn’t match the expectations of the nose. Pineapple juice. Nice bitterness on the end. Inexplicably large bottle - which I love.

Bottle. Golden with a white head. Incredible aroma, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, opal fruits. Taste is a bit of a let down after the aroma, taste has grapefruit caramel, hay, slighty earthy yeast. Bitter yeasty linger.
