50cl bottle at home from Beerritz, uk. Body is christal clear pale, head is small, white, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Nose is slightly malty, flavor is citric, lemon peel, grapefruit, tons of hops. Medium sweet, medium to heavy hoppy bitter. Finish is long lasting heavy hoppy bitter, medium sweet, fresh water sidetaste. Medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation. Easy, refreshing, simple, good IPA.

[International Beer Festival, Burton-on-Trent, 2015] - Oakham Ales Green Devil IPA, 6%. Hellgolden klar. Grapefruit im Aroma, leicht süßlich, nur minimale medizinische Noten, ein bitterer Grundton im Hintergrund. Ölig und kräftig im Körper. Antrunk kräftig bitter, mit etwas Fichtenharz. Grapefruit eher an zweiter Stelle.

500ml bottle from the LCBO. Incredibly clear pale gold, solid but diminishing fizzy white head - frankly it looks more like a commercial cider. Power of suggestion? - it even has a hint of apple! - but mostly light grass and citrus zest, some alcohol, fairly dry - odd bit of stinky cheese too. Taste has no cheese - just citrus and dried flowers and grass - quite nice, a little catty too. Light body, solid carbonation, medium to medium-quite dry slightly pungent finish. i would have this on tap no problem at all.

Bottles from B&M £1.79 each, consumed at home, cool out of a fat tulip. Hazy orange body, with a loose white head that dissipated quite quickly. Sharp citrus, cat pee, and green herb aroma. Big juicy tropical fruit, more cat pee, stewed tea, digestive biscuit, with hops demanding attention. Medium bodied, lip-smacking astringency. Well up to Oakham standards.

pours clear light golden with a small creamy white cap, minimal retention and lacing. spicy minty citrus, fragrant lemongrass, pine, honeyed and biscuity maltiness - grapey, touch of caramel, grassy resin, pepper, clean. light carbonation, light body - oily; balanced spicy-citrusy finish. muted but still nice.
