This light igniting ale flickers complex fruits across your tongue leaving a dry fruity bitter finish smothering your thirst. Inferno uses a blend of five different hops from the Yakima Valley to create its floral aroma and unique flavour.

Bottle. Golden yellow, slighty hazy colour with small white head, that sits down quickly and leaves some nice lacing. This beer is brewed with 5 different kinds of hops and that fact gives it the perfect nose. Aroma of hops, spices, grass and also some citruses, mostly grapefruit. Very bitter beer with dry, heavy bitter aftertaste.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2009 Cask conditioned handpull at The Knights Templar, JDW, Chancery Lane. Pale gold with thin white head. Trademark citrus hop aroma, not in best condition maybe. A little flat. But the insistent hop on the finish is impossible to ignore. Aroma and finish are excellent, malts are a little weak. 3.4/5. Re-rate Cask handpull at The Bull, Horton Kirby, Kent. Pale gold, lasting white head. Really quite tart, but a lovely light piercing citrus fruit beer. Almost lime like. Really great condition too. Wow, that lime/hop is exceptional. Stunning. The freshness on the new barrel was amazing with a harsh mango fruit edge.

One of Oakham’s best, a citrusy bitter with a refreshing after tase, this golden ale is a brilliant beld of hops, a great session beer with very little head as is the trend with most oakham beers. A must try beer!!

Cask@Barton Arms, Aston. Golden beer with a medium frothy head. Aroma is hoppy pine resin. The taste is citrus, pine resin, pepper and some sharp bitterness. Reminds me of an IPA. Excellent beer with a touch of heat.

Cask conditioned at The Bartons Arms, Aston, Birmingham. Pale gold with white head. The real deal in a glorious pub, despite it being in ’enemy’ territory. Sharp and lemony bitter, very hoppy, biscuity malty body, lovely in every respect and congratulations to Oakham for ressurecting The Bartons.

Cask at the Waggon and Horses, Halesowen. Pours pale gold with a medium head. Aroma is mango and tropical fruit. Taste has a bitter piney start. Tropical fruit in the strong bitter, piney finish.

Cask in The White Horse (Sloaney Pony). Pours pale yellow. Nose is sweet tangerine fruit. Taste is fresh tangerine, touch of mint and then grapefruit on the finish. Really really nice. Light bodied and refreshing.

On cask at The Stagg’s Beer Festival, 2011. Pours a blonde colour with a decent white head. Aroma of alcohol, grass and caramel. Similar flavours. Nicely bitter with moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Alcohol is also quite present.
