Cask; Regular. Aka Jeffrey Hudson Bitter. Also available bottled @ 4.2% abv.

A golden beer whose aroma is dominated by hops that give characteristic citrus notes. Hops and fruit on the palate are balanced by malt and a bitter base. Dry hoppy finish with soft fruit flavors. A nationally respected ale, winner of numerous awards, JHB is a blond baby packed with flavour & perfect for those long sessions as well as a quick pint at lunchtime. This popular beer was crowned Champion beer of britain in the bitter category in 2001 and 1999.
Challenger and American Mount Hood hops.

Butelka 500ml. Zloty kolor. Piana biala srednia ladnie utrzymuje sie na szkle. Nuty orzechowe i chlebowe w aromacie. W smaku trawa ciastka ziolowe akcenty orzechy i chleb. Ciekawy lekko cytrusowy posmak ktory dodaje swiezosci i porzadny goryczkowy finisz.

Tap at the Stansted airport Wetherspoons. Fruity, hoppy, surprising. Light and refreshing. First beer in a few days. After a little it gets a little yeasty and has more real ale character but a pleasant surprise.

On tap at The Wheel and Compass, Weston By Welland. Light golden pour with small white head. Subtle grassy and hoppy notes with toasted grains. Dry hoppy citrus finish, Lacking complexity yet very pleasent and drinkable.

Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon, slight grapefruit, a little apple, some pale malts and grassy hops. Taste of soapy lemon, some grapefruit, a little apple, slight pale malts and subtle spicy, grassy hops. Light bodied and an oily texture. A short, soft, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. A basic golden ale, some decent hoppy notes but it’s quite soapy and oily like most people picked up on. Ok.

Light golden color. Very unremarkable and simple hoppy flavor. Unremarkable beer, but by no means bad.

Cask at brewery Pours bright light orange hue with a small rocky white head and great lacing. Nose is leafy hops lots of grassy notes and cracker pale malt. Flavors are both leafy hops and pale toasted grains. Quite nice. A pinch of green apple but less than the bishops. Finish is pretty dry with lingering leafy hops and dry pale malt husks. Pretty decent session brew.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 02.05.16. Pale golden. White head and lacing. Soft aroma of citrus, fresh tropical fruits and pale malt. Similar taste and aftertaste, with citrus taste and bitterness. Well-balanced, complex and quaffable.
