3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle (4,2% ABV). Pours hazy yellow with nice white head that gives plenty of lacing. Aroma is fruity (citrus and a bit of elder) and hoppy. The same goes for the flavor. It is fruity (citruses), light and refreshing. It has a modest bitter and dry aftertaste. This beer really delivers what it is advertise on the label. Overall a very refreshing summer beer.

2.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle. Slightly zesty nose, green fruit and something like wet rubber. Initial taste impressions weren’t good, the aftertaste goes a little off, bitterness merging into amyl but half way through the glass it’s softened. Now the orange hops come through. A little resin. An odd but not uninteresting brew, I suspect it needs to be drunk on a hot summer day rather than in the depths of winter to be enjoyed properly.

Good tasting beer with a definite citrus aftertaste. The low alcohol makes it a very good session beer

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml bottle from Les Vignerons. Dark golden yellow, pretty clear, with a tiny, non persistent white head. Pretty delicate smell, floral and citrusy hops, a hint of butter, white bread and grass. Very English indeed with an American twist. Pleasent bitterness, slightly soapy, subtle but clean malty backbone. Rather good hoppy aftertaste. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Easily quaffable and thirst quenching. Pleasent golden ale.
