Handpull @ The Crosse Keys. Golden with a lasting white head. Nose is quite fruity with citrus hops and pale malts. Again, lots of fruits in the flavor with a good malty backbone and a dry bitter finish. Not what I expected from Oakham but not a disappointment either.

Cask, Chelmsford Ale House, 20th January 2015. Typically golden ale. Grapefruit, lemons, some slight petrol, quite tough on drinkability Think this got hot in transit as it isnít what it should be. Considerable off-flavours which I rarely get from Oakham.

Cask at The Merchants Inn, Rugby. Clear Golden beer with a white fuzzy head, Malty Biscuit Citrus notes, but a little flat and no tangy finish I would have expected from Oakham beers. Slight hoppy notes.

On cask @ Cloisters. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - honey and limes. Taste - lime scented honey again, almost but not quite going into lime marmalade. Palate - close to medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long tangy texture. Overall - enjoyable beer. I think this was 5.6% to be honest, so top end for Golden Ale.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thick creamy head. It has a balanced tropical fruit aroma and taste. This is a good medium bodied session ale.

On cask at The Wellington. I think this might be my 2500th rating. Appearance: light orange, small white head. Aroma: slightly malty. Some fruit, lemon rind, hops. Flavour: decent hoppiness with a bitter flavour, malty, a little fruity with a decent bitter finish. Nice.
