Tart gooseberry and soft peach on the nose. Gooseberries and fruit to taste, before an intense bitterness that’s as sharp as a macaw’s screech!

Pours a clear light medium amber with a very nice head and lacing that retains quite well. Nose is of light sweet fruit, mostly peach, against a subtle toast malt essence. The body is light medium in texture coupled with a normal level of carbonation. The flavor profile is well balanced and quite nice. It begins with a fruit hop flavor, mostly peach, over a toast/biscuit sweetness. It then progresses to a well crafted level of bitterness - not too bold, but just right to arouse the taste buds. It finishes with a slightly citrus bitterness that lingers that is somewhat crisp. An excellent English use of Amarillo and Summit hops.

Light amber colour. Big hop nose is full of tropical goodness - mango, dragonfruit, papaya... Lots of bitterness, clean pale malts and all kinds of big fruity hops. Gorgeous stuff.

Bottle, poured into tulip glass. Dark gold to amber, decent white head. Very fruity, but hard to pick apart - more tart than sweet. On warming, some straw. Taste is tart fruit, then a powerful bitterness. Very lingering. This is exactly as bitter as I find beers can go before it becomes unpleasant (to me, at least). Thoroughly lovely.
