Tart gooseberry and soft peach on the nose. Gooseberries and fruit to taste, before an intense bitterness that’s as sharp as a macaw’s screech!

Bouteille(@Sainsbury’s, British Empire):Clear, light amber coloured with a stable mid-sized off-white head, citric to exotic-fruity hoppy nose with a pretty faint touch of cough-syrup; moderate to solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied; distinctive fruity and malty traces in the mainly dry bitter-hoppy finish. A very nice brew…

Shared Via Atheist Priest. Clear brew with a Amber colour and lively carbonation. Fairly muted aroma but there are notes of hops, citrussy goodness and a slightly tropical pungent note that I see where the gooseberry notes on the descriptors come from. On the palate it is medium bodied, has a hoppy pine cone bitterness, and a tropical fruit flavours with decent length. A very good drinking beer.

Nose shows toffee, caramel, herbal earthy hops, orange marmalade. Moreish. Pretty similar flavours, more slight caramel and bready malt with some earthy hops underneath. Could use more carbonation
