COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tart gooseberry and soft peach on the nose. Gooseberries and fruit to taste, before an intense bitterness that’s as sharp as a macaw’s screech!

Bottle from Witrose in East Cowes shared with McTaps. Highly drinkable piwo with big aromas of spruce, lemons, other citrus fruits and a bit of hay. Bitter ending which is is equalized by a fine sweetish forefrunt. Cripsy, special, amazing piwo which is a bit unusual.

Bottle from Waitrose in East Cowes. Beer pours out in a light hazy golden colour with low, airy head and crisp body. Aroma of hops and spruce. Taste of fresh hops, mandarinas, citrus, spruce, pine, mild herbs and light peppers. Wonderful refreshing. Loved it due to its well-balanced bitterness and aromatic finish.

A new golden rake @ Magpie : nice pungent hoppy nose. Tropical fruit. Golden colour (no shit) A dry palate with that zesty hop shit that’s aromatic and chill. Almost Apa in character.

The aroma of wood from the hops. A little thin and bitter taste. Tastes much English despite there being used amarillo and summer hops.

It stuns me that people don’t rate this beer. On cask it has a wonderful velvet mouthfeel that instantly lets you know the brewer cares. It is packed with aroma hops giving tropical fruits, peaches and gooseberry; it is perfectly bitter and has a solid pale malt backbone. One of the ten best sub 5% beers in the world.
