Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear amber colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is hoppy and typically Oakham. The flavour is medium bitter, hoppy a little fruity and with lots of nice hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Another winner from Oakham.

Cask conditioned handpump Merchants Inn Rugby 02/02/13. A golden beer with a tight white head and lace. A big bodied very hoppy beer. tropical fruits. Malts are a bit too much on the sweet side for me and it’s therefore also a little chewy. However the hops are good and it’s very tasty.
