Cask at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Strong aroma of orange peel plus grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, some mango, slight pine and grassy, floral hops. Taste of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, mango, some pineapple, slight resin, a little sugar, subtle alcohol and grassy, floral hops. Medium bodied but a sticky texture. A sticky, lingering, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. It sure is a hoppy cask IPA, but maybe a little too sweet and sticky textured. Nice but for me, difficult to drink.

Cask at Tap East after velodrome session. Light hazed yellow golden coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma lemony, citra, hint of grassy, and background tropical fruit notes, mango. Little sharp and dank on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of soft ripe tropical citrus fruits, lemon, mango, apricot, but of nelson sauvin. Palate is beautiful cask condition, soft and effortless on the tongue. Damn Oakham can make some top notch hoppy cask ales. Malt profile is light and slightly biscuit, provides an excellent platform for the hops. Really food.

Cask at the St. Albans Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear, dark copper colour with a spotty white head. Aroma of orange peal, grass and hay. Floral hop flavour with tangerine citrus and some biscuity malt. Finishes with bitter and earthy hop resin mixed with some chewy malt sweetness.

Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear gold with a light, foamy white head. Light ripe orange citrus aroma. Medium sweet flavor, some piney resins, more citrus, grapefruit, orange. Medium bodied with soft, fine carbonation. A bit of sticky hoppiness in the finish, moderate sugary malts, slight juicy pine and orange. Decent.

Cask at CBC Brixton. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour. Slightly perfumy aroma, a little grassy but very light. It's nice - ever, ever so slightly sour but has a sugary candied sweetness too. It's fruity and tasty, not very bitter and very drinkable. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Scopey (9412) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2013
Cask at George, Croydon. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is pissy hops, bitter-sweet aspect, tropical fruit, candy and freshly cut grass. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, mango, grapefruit, straw, floral, fruit salad sweets, resin and light alcohol bite with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Balance, flavour and drinkability are all spot on. A delight to drink!
