(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 26 Apr 2013) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and sweetish malt. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, resin, grass, chewy malt and a generous bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

Cask at St Albans beer festival 2012. A golden coloured pour with a small fluffy white head on top. Hoppy, citrus/tropical fruit aroma. Tastes slightly sweet, oranges, lemons, hoppy, malty. What a cracker this one is.

Cask @ Live and Let Live. Light golden color with a medium white head. The nose is big fruity mango, pick-and-mix sweets, fruit leather, peaches. The taste is light syrup with loads of summer orchard fruit flavors. More mango and some pineapple. Grassy hop finish. Lip-smacking. The body’s a bit syrupy, soft carbonation. Overall, a very good west coast-inspired English IPA with plenty of bold flavors.

Cask, gravity, at 34th Bedford Real Ale and Cider Festival. Gold. Citric aroma: grapefruit and mango or melon. Thick grapefruit taste and a bitter finish. I really don’t like this sort of beer, which is becoming very common. And I don’t like the fact they spell ’tranquillity’ wrongly.
