Tasted from the firkin at the Triple Rock Firkin Fest April 7, 2012.This dry stout pours a dark black color from the firkin. Small to medium sized off-white foamy head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. A light to medium bodied Dry stout. The malts are chocolate and coffee. The hops are herbal and earthy. Mild soft carbonation. A touch thin tasting. Nice session beer. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap: pours black with thin black head no carbonation. Aroma is soft with smokey roast grain. Roasted grain dominates the flavor with some coffee and chocolate notes. Palate is grainy bitter with a touch of sweetness but finishes thin. Starts nicely but finishes rather dull.

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Malt and light roast aroma with light chocolate. Malt and roast flavor with light nuttiness. Medium bodied. Malt and caramel lingers with roast and light chocolate.
