Gravicask at GBBF. Amber coloured with a slight head. Hoppy and floral all round with some delicate gingery spicy notes. Fairly one dimensional but jolly tasty with it. leaparsons (4659), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jul 29, 2007 Bottle. Golden orange with a small head. Aromas are sweet hops with lemon and apricot fruitiness. Some floral, spicy notes. Flavours are sweet, floral and hoppy with sticky citrus fruit. Some spices follow with a fruity bitter finish. JohnBarleycorn (390), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 25, 2007 Deep gold and slightly cloudy. Very nice hop aroma is complemented excellently by fruits such as banana and pineapple. This tasty hop/fruit character extends to the flavour as well, with the medley of fruit accents making Hole Hearted seem like a brewers interpretation of an oaked fruit punch. The bitter hop finish leaves an excellent final impression. KnutAlbert (3108), Oslo, Norway Feb 15, 2007 Bottle from Real Ale, Twickenham Lovely golden ale, fine use of cascade hops. Some wheat in it, lovely flowery notes, more bitter than most English golden ales. Good stuff!
