A Mes rate: Gravicask at Sussex Beer Festival.
Very dark red brown with a thin white rim. Malty darkness on the nose but nothing too special. Reasonable malt and hop balance but just a little boring. Tea in the finish doesn’t help it out any. Dull.

Cask at The Market Porter London Bridge 5 Feb 08. Dark mahogany colored. A lasting creamy head. Inviting aroma of dark coffee and chocolate. Flavor of dark fruits. Dry bitter finish. A "different" stout.

Cask, Market Porter, London. Dark ruby black, thin off-white head. Nose is clinical and burnt malt, some weird grainy infected tones. Mouth is talc dry and some summer fruit with lots of lactic maltiness. Quite light bodied and dry but in an icing sugar way. Sweet and roasted, but alright.

Cask@Battersea BF. A fairly tasty stout, with main notes of mocha and chocolate, but in sybtle amounts. Malty for the most part (roasty malt). Lightly bitter.

Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. Very deep ruby colour with no head. Reasonably good stout. Nice subtle dark roast flavours. Fullish in mouth. Not overly dry or sour. Quite drinkable. Nice choc on finish.
