On tap at Hops and Pie poured a clear amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of caramel, cocoa and light graininess. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of toasted malt, caramel and graininess with a crisp dry lingering toasted malt finish.

Bomber from Grocery Outlet. Deep amber/brownish in color. A bready hoppiness dominates the nose. A little sweetness as well. Light breadiness up front with a little bit of a spicy hop bite. Some underlying sweetness. Good hop/malt balance. Easy sipper.

Hazy dark amber with a thin rocky light beige head. Bland toast and slightly nutty aroma. The flavor is a bit light at first but it ends with a smack of toast and caramelized pale ale grains. And maybe a touch of oatmeal, I think. The start has a thorough leafy bitterness with a slight, slight acidity before the toast and light caramel and amber grains kick in.

Great overall Amber. You smell hoppy and complex and then tastes like an amber. Hits all over the palate. Great beer for an amber!

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy semi-dark red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. The lacing was somewhat w there in a speckled messy sort of way. The smell had some toasted caramel malts and a light toffee backed up by a light nuttiness. The taste was basically the same. On the palate, this was about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation finishes somewhat crisp yet smooth. Overall, for the most part, this was a decent Amber/Red ale.
