Black,beige head.Great nose of dry and roasted malt. Medium roast palate,cocoa nibs. Medium roast bitterness in finish

STYLE: American Rye Stout OG: 13.3 IBU: 40 ABV: 5.1% MALTS: Rahr 2-row, Flaked Oats, GW Munich, rye flakes, rye malt, Baird Chocolate, black, midnight wheat, carafe II, GW c120, FB Kiln coffee, GW c-15, Roasted barley YEAST: Cal ale yeast BITTERING HOPS: Nugget FINISHING HOPS: Experimental Hop 6300 DRY HOPPING: Experimental Hop 06300 (for those who want to know) Dark brown with tan head. Aroma/Flavor consist of pine/floral hop flavor with an earthy dry intense bitterness and dark coffee/burn bark roast. Medium body. Carbonation is restrained. Yummy, but definitely a northwest interpretation of the style. Also, I couldn’t pick out the rye in all of this. Perhaps it might be more apparent if you go light on the bittering hops and black/roasted malt???
