Sampled at PIB. Pours a murky brown/orange with a thin white lacing. Aroma of dark fruits, yeast, butterscotch. Flavour the same, but including bourbon, and yeast. Quite sweet. Dark flavours which leave a tingling/light burning mouthfeel. Good.

Pours a dark hazy ruddy with a creamy head and a light halo around the top of the beer. Rich citrus fruity hops initially hit the nose but give way to sweet caramel, vanilla, and a rather strong toffee presence. In the back there seems to be a touch of oak and char as well. Very nice aroma actually. On the palate there is caramel, toffee, and vanilla coupled with flavors of oak and char. The finish is hoppy dry and bitter.

The infamous #1. Update on this, since I believe it was released in 2011. A: Mahogany with a thin creme colored ring on top. Lacing. N: Big bourbon nose on top, with heaps of caramel. Toffee and prunes, Oak. T: Big sweetness and a helping of bitterness. Lots of wood. M: Sticky, medium-heavy body thatís slightly watery. Alcohol is big . O: Still astringent even after all these years. The nose is very inviting, but the sensation of drinking it still takes a person by surprise. Guess Iíll keep sitting on these.

Pours ruby in color with just a slight bit of head. Smells of citus hops, toffee, chocolate, vanilla and also has a sour smell to it. Taste is much of the same toffee, vanilla, grapefruit, chocolate, and pine. Mouthfeel is thick and the finish is long with pine hops.

Bottle shared by marcus. Pours light brown with no head. Aroma is vanilla and light Bourbon. Flavor is woody whiskey with a hint of smoke. Finishes smooth
