Boring appearance, lighter than III. Way more barrel character than Hellshire III. Kinda astringent; burns on its way down. Hoppy too. Meh.

Bomber from Imperial. Pours a dark brown color with a small white head. A nice hot woody nose with brandy. The flavor is big sweet bourbon, oak, some sweet vinous brandy, red wine, heat, I think it is a bit of a hot mess, but it’s good. Very dry with loads of tannins.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, dark brownish red pour with lacing tan head, aroma has vanilla, oak, bourbon, slight cocoa into a bit of earth, lots of caramel, toffee, sweet sugars, slight spice, pretty simple. Taste is a mix of dark fruit, toffee, caramel, vanilla, oak, bourbon, slight vinous, brandy notes into earth, grass, hints of grain, spice, finishing fairly sweet.
