651mL thanks to a trading partner. Pours inky for style, near black with a medium coffee foam. Good lace. Nose is sharper coffee, lemon, pretty green. Taste is wildly thin. Essentially lemon tea with hints of dusty coffee. Palate is water considering the style. Overattenuated.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz Bottle. The pour was a thick jet black with a huge (3-4 finger) tan foamy head that lasted throughout, reducing to a large cap with excellent sheets of foamy lacing.
The aroma was of a roasted cereal malt and a strong leathery yeast with notes of dark chocolate, molasses, dark roast coffee, vanilla and a hint of oats.
The taste was lightly sweet, a tad bitter and very malty with a healthy dose of dark chocolate and molasses from the start, progressing with a strong bitter dark roasted coffee taste and a silky oat feel towards the end. The flavor lasted a good long while following the swallow, with a bold espresso taste fading very slowly from the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was exceptionally full in body with a dry, oily texture and a medium carbonation.
Overall this was one solid tasting Stout with a great balance of flavors, which ultimately created a smooth and tasty brew with a superb drinkability…

Bomber @ Cannon Beach OR. Strong coffee flavor that dominates the whole brew. Great beer if that's what you are up for.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deliciously rich flavors of espresso, sweet cream, deeply roasted grains and dark chocolate. A little on the sweet side, but still very drinkable. And very tasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours black with a creamy brown head on top. Aroma is espresso, chocolate, molasses, and roasted malt. Flavor is big espresso upfront, mocha, roasted malts, and slight nuttiness. On the palate the beer is crisp from the moderate carbonation. Medium bodied, finishes semi-dry.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
In short: A very roasty and slim coffee-stout with boiled vegetables off-flavors. Meh.
How: Bottle 22oz. Consumed approximately 8 months after purchase. Bottle from mcberko, thanks Matt.
The look: Black body topped by a very small tan head.
In long: Nose is obviously full-on coffee (d’uh!) with lots of roast and some boiled broccoli. Taste is more of the same. Body is a bit thinner than it should be, plenty of coffee/expresso with an old coffee filter character, the over-roasted malts bring boiled vegetables sensation and there is a green bitterness that tastes like cucumbers skin. This beer was wrong on many levels. Coffee stouts is usually an easy beer to get right, an easy beer to appreciate, but this one is definitely in the bottom of the pile. The beer is call Overcast and it is indeed evocative of a gloomy depressing day, but don’t let depressing beers and depressing days get you down, because whenever you’re having a bad day just remember that there is always a tomorrow (except once).

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Black with a massive foamy beige head that leaves a short lived lacing. Aroma is coffee, blackcurrant, chicory root, burnt wood. Very roasty on the palate, not much in the way of other character. Taste is espresso, leather, burnt toast, chocolate. Definitely lives up to its name but a little one dimensional.
