3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle into a Samuel Smith pint glass.
A: Pours an ultra-dark brown color. The head is a two finger mocha shade featuring a nice texture and perhaps even nicer retention. Looks good in a glass, thatís for sure (especially the Samuel Smith pint glass, which almost seems tailor made for stouts).
S: Wowee, this one is very forward in its mocha, chocolate, and roasted barley qualities. Oats are faintly notable, as well. Iím pretty impressed, actually.
T/M: Dry, dry, dry. This opens dry/bitter, finishes dry/bitter, with seemingly no room for sweetness anywhere. Thereís a slight ping of chocolate to start before coffee, roasted barley, and oatmeal all take over. I notice a dimension of piny hops on the back end, too that never overpower everything else. I reckon itís a bit more airy-feeling than I like; Iíd kill for a silkier texture, or maybe itís just lower carbonation Iíd kill for. The latter quality is the only thing that bugs me here - it allows it to come off as being too dry and even a bit rough at times.
O: One has to love how drinkable this is. The lack of creamy softness is easy to overlook for this reason. I wouldnít trade for it; but I would buy it again if I ever caught it in a store.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
There was a lot of smoke. This beer pours a almost black with some ruby and a medium khaki head with some lacing. The aroma is coffee dominated, sweet, roasted caramel, dark roasted barley, some chocolate. The aroma is very enticing! The taste is extremely coffee upfront. It is super sweet, caramel, hazelnut, no alcohol. I also pick up dark chocolate, and is rich and roasty. I highly recommend this beer!

Bomber from Grocery Outlet. Blackish in color on the pour. Roasted malt dominates the nose. A little coffee and milk sugar as well. Maybe a touch of vanilla. Roasted coffee flavors up front. Some bitterness towards the finish . Really good coffee stout.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: A deep cola brown with a fading frothy tan head and minimal lace. Full in espresso aroma and flavor along with good nutty roast, slight dark chocolate, faint plum and touch of smoke. The mouthfeel is on par with most coffee imbued beer. Tad of lingering metallic tininess. Solid overall stout, not really sweet nor dry.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From the can, absolutely opaque black body, walnut colored head, ok lace. Aroma roasted barley, some plum, coffee, faint metal. Taste is roasty, coffee, a little dark fruit, and a touch of vanilla. Finish is nicely dry. Palate is a bit thin, body kinda light. Carbonation is moderate, just right for style.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Poured from a 22. Has a great roasty coffee aroma to it. Flavor is sweet and definitely has a chocolate coffee flavor to it. Has a bit of astringency to it. Not perfectly smooth but overall great beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bottle, served in a tulip glass. Pours dark cola brown with medium thick pale mocha head. Plenty of chunky sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is dark roasty chocolate malt with big fresh espresso flavor on the back. Taste is clean roasty chocolate malt, very smooth creamy finish. Espresso notes are present but much lighter than the nose. Great pieces here, a little unbalanced overall.

Can, moderate expresso taste. Was expecting more, maybe in first month of brewing. Black, mild coffee aroma.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Picked this up a couple of nights ago at Brewforia Meridian, but all the bottle shops should have it.
Pours an expected black with a brown head... good lacing and retention.
Nose is almost all about the coffee.... cold brewed obviously with just enough sweetness to really make things gel.
The flavor is pretty damn good... tons of espresso.. hints of lite caramel and some round maltiness that moves all the different components together ... surprising flavor for a lower ABV brew...
Medium body and is sorta creamy and the small bubble carbonation is just near perfect.. This brew got much better with warmth... donít drink straight out of the fridge and allow it to blossom.
Loving what Oakshire is doing and very happy that Boise has access.
