COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’ve created an unfiltered ale utilizing Black Strap molasses and toasted oats for a rich and flavorful brown porter. It’s 6.5 % and begins with aromas of chocolate and dark brown sugar. Patriot Porter is a malt forward ale and has flavors of nuts, toasted coconut, and chocolate. It finishes with a crisp and balanced bitterness from the American hops and roasted malts.

Growler served in an English pint. Pours murky dark brown with amber. Builds a large light brown head on a soft pour that stays around then leaves a nice soapy lacing. Strong aroma of chocolate, molasses, and toasted oats, as advertised. Light bitter, medium sweet flavor that includes a hind of coconut. Medium body, creamy-thick texture, and a mildly roasted finish of dark chocolate. Very nice.
