2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy with a frothy top fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated transparent orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop and dough. The semi-dry mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of dry and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Poured out of can a hazy golden with a creamy white head. Bright citrus and pine for aroma, bitter yet creamy mouthfeel. Easy drinking IPA.

Can from 16 Tons, Eugene. I’ve had this on draft and in 22s many times, canning is a relatively recent thing for Oakshire, wanted to see how or if there is a difference. Pours a clear orange, fair amount of off-white head. Not much in the way of aroma, not that there was much before. Body is on the slight side, almost creamy. Finish is floral, sweet. Very drinkable, but I miss some of what I perceive to be a lack of aroma vs. the draft version. Tasty nonetheless.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle: Pours dark golden yellow with a pillowy white head and big bubbles. Mild aroma of citrus and resinous hops with caramel malts. Taste is mellow with some bitter. Very malt forward for an IPA but well balanced overall.

Slightly hazy gold pour with a tall, sticky sea foam white head.
Piney citrus hop aroma.
Lightly yet assertively bitter from start to finish. A bit thin.
Overall, a decent IPA.

A solid IPA. Not out to prove anything. Just a smooth, sharp and clean taste. Not too much hops for the IPA weenies but just enough to satisfy those who prefer IPA’s. Love it. Thanks Oakshire for bringin it to Washington State.

Pours a nice gold. Huge hop aroma with some grapefruit/apricot stuff going on. Bitterness balanced with some caramel/toffee and a nice apricot finish. The hops linger and the belches from the ample carbonation are like a wicked hot hop wind.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy light orange with a frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, herbal hops, caramel and biscuity malts. Flavor starts as herbal and piney and then hints of grapefruit and orange sneak in. Nicely hoppy and bitter upfront. Hints of caramel are there also. On the palate the beer is medium bodied and carbonation leaving a nice lingering bitterness.

Tap @ Parkway. Clear, gold pour with a brief rim of a white head leaving minimal lace. Nose is tropical fruit, pine, citrus and maybe some malt in there. Medium body and moderate, very fine carbonation. Pine resin, orange flesh and zest, toast and a bit of ethanol. Finish is also a shade alcoholic, but otherwise the standard bitter NW IPA. Oakshire are doing good things, keep an eye on them.
