4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My Bottom Line:
A coniferous hop cologne hovers atop this IPAís slender biscuit-y malts, as honey-like undercurrents tag along the resinous bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the translucent golden.
-The mouthfeel is very smooth.
-This is not a hop bomb; itís just a very well put together hop vehicle, and quenching too.
-Hops also share bark-like angles.
-A very pleasant surprise from an unknown brewer. Always a great moment!

12 ounce can
Thanks to the person who brought this to the Craft Beer Company in Clerkenwell for a tasting. I always like trying new West Coast style IPAs. While this is not the greatest it does put a new brewery on my radar.
Aroma / Appearance - The carbonated golden base shimmers like bright daylight. White head sits on top like chunks of melting ice. Spruce, pine, and bright citrus sweeten the air.
Flavor / Palate - The bright hops are the main star of a balanced approach to the style. Itís big and bold in the typical American style. The bitterness lingers like a long lasting sunset. Iíd pick up a few more Oakshire beers on a trip out west based on this one.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mine was from a can - pretty sure it said 6.7%, not 7.1% - and its a really swell IPA. Local hops from a prime growing region results in this wonderful bitter aftertaste. I want a case of it for fishing this summer!!!

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy with a frothy top fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated transparent orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop and dough. The semi-dry mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of dry and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from 16 Tons, Eugene. Iíve had this on draft and in 22s many times, canning is a relatively recent thing for Oakshire, wanted to see how or if there is a difference. Pours a clear orange, fair amount of off-white head. Not much in the way of aroma, not that there was much before. Body is on the slight side, almost creamy. Finish is floral, sweet. Very drinkable, but I miss some of what I perceive to be a lack of aroma vs. the draft version. Tasty nonetheless.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle: Pours dark golden yellow with a pillowy white head and big bubbles. Mild aroma of citrus and resinous hops with caramel malts. Taste is mellow with some bitter. Very malt forward for an IPA but well balanced overall.
