This is a big IPA that just barely misses the IIPA classification. Pours a Golden color with reddish copper highlights that glint here and there. Average white head. There’s a distinct pastry doughy, slightly sweet, cracker-like aroma that reminds me of pilsner malt followed by an herby light-ctirus aroma of northwest hops. Medium-light bodied, it carries through a sweet malt flavor that is not caramel. Hops are well-behaved and in restraint. Bitterness is very smooth with no carry-over. This is a clean-finishing beer. However it is more of a malt/hop balanced beer than a lot of other ipas from the same region.

Piney nose characterized by bread and some caramel sweetness. Notes of peat, lemon zest, and light caramel on a toasty creamy malt backbone. Some bread character. Moderate citrus hop presence. A little oily with light floral notes. Lingering bitterness.

Bookseeb (111) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Appearance of a hazy copper amber color supporting a thin dissipating head that leaves spotty lace. Smell is balanced well with sweet caramel malt, grapefruit and pine. Taste has the scense of aroma that has that nice balance of hops leaving a dry bitter in the end. Mouthfeel is a viscous medium with a good spike of carbonation. Overalll a nice well rounded blend of flavors that bring this IPA together.

Light Amber in color, hazy with a thin head. Nice IPA hops aroma. Floral and fruity with a good malt profile following. Rich in flavor and the dry finish this was good.

On tap . Cloudy golden yellow with a tin white head that quickly vanishes. Minimal lacing. Nice citrus, hop, and grassy nose. Very floral, hoppy attack. Britter slow lingering finish. Yumm!
